KIT Informatics: top from the start
On May 2, the ZEIT ONLINE study guide published the latest CHE University Ranking, available on HeyStudium. In addition to facts on the topics of study, teaching and research, the ranking includes the results of a survey of 120,000 students on 10,000 degree programs at German universities. The evaluation is presented on a 5-star scale.
The KIT Departement of Informatics is in the top group in many categories: support at the beginning of studies stands out in particular, which was rated with 14/16 points. KIT Informatics also received very good ratings in the indicators "study organization", "graduation within a reasonable time" and "information on stays abroad".
"The current results clearly show that we are on the right track with our offers, especially at the beginning of studies, as well as our advice and support during studies, in order to provide students with the best possible support during their studies," says Dr. Ioana Gheta, Informatics Student Services, pleased with the good results.
A total of fifteen subjects were evaluated in the ranking, seven of which are also taught at KIT: Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics and Sport/Sports Science.
The CHE University Ranking, which appears exclusively in the ZEIT Study Guide and on HeyStudium by ZEIT ONLINE, has been the most comprehensive and detailed comparison of universities in the German-speaking world for more than 25 years, with around 120,000 students surveyed.
