Postdoctoral Lecture Qualification
The postdoctoral lecture qualification at the Department of Informatics is a recognition of an outstanding talent for research and teaching (teaching admission) in the specialist field of Informatics.
Prerequisites for a postdoctoral lecture qualification is a doctorate at a German university or a university of equal rank or an equivalent academic degree from a foreign university, as well as at least two years of service in the specialist field of Informatics after having achieved the doctorate.
The application for admission to the postdoctorate lecture qualification is to be submitted in writing at the Deanery of the Department of Informatics. The decision made on the postdoctorate lecture qualification is based on the following qualifications:

a doctoral thesis (usually in the German language)

a scientific lecture in the German language and a follow-up colloquium, and

a course related to the subject or course of study.
